Snowflakes and Cupcakes with Infinity Engraving

Merry Christmas!  This little baker image by Sasayaki Glitter is quite versatile and can be used for just about any theme or topic you want.  All you need to do is change the colors and sentiment to whatever you want: birthday, thinking of you, feel better or even sympathy.  To use digital stamps, all you need to do is download the image and resize it in Word, then print it out.

I have a few techniques in this project, but none are difficult.  I colored my image with Copics and die-cut the image panel and the red panel to create an in-laid die cut look.  I created a mask to go over the image using copy paper and then stamped the background using a large snowflake background stamp and Versamark.  At this point I removed the mask.  I covered the Versamark with Judikins Sticky Stuff and heat set that.  Judikins Sticky Stuff is a powdered adhesive that becomes sticky when melted.  When using it, remove the heat as soon as it turns shiny.  Using red and green micro-fine glitter, I added it to the adhesive to create and snowflake background.  To create the sentiment, I die cut it from white card stock and heat embossed it using green glitter embossing powder and added two layers.  The green snowflake on the top left corner is a chipboard die cut from Infinity Engravings.  Here is the link to the video tutorial on my YouTube channel if you want to see how I created this card from start to finish.  My supply list is below, with links to the digital image and chipboard snowflakes.

Supplies:
Sasayaki Glitter Baking Time image
Infinity Engraving Snowflake chipboard
Crafters Companion Spectrum Noir cardstock
Copic Markers
Mama Elephant Peek a Frame Creative Cuts
Hero Arts Snowflake background stamp
Versamark
Judikins Sticky Stuff
Elizabeth Crafts Microfine glitter in Green and True Red
Doodlebug Ladybug Velvet cardstock
Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock
Simon Says Stamp Die
Stampendous Green Glitter embossing powder
Tombow Mono Multi glue

This project was a lot of fun to create and I love how it turned out.  The snowflakes remind me of fireworks and the girl looks like she is having a great time baking Christmas treats.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you had fun and get the time to get creative!

Merry Christmas and much love,

Monster Mash Halloween with Infinity Engravings LLC

Hello and welcome!  Here is my second DT project with a Halloween theme.  The image is another from Sasayaki Glitter and the bat is chipboard from IE.  After downloading and resizing my image in Word, I printed it out on Copic friendly cardstock, die cut it, then colored in the image.  I made a copy and fussy cut it out and then placed it over the colored image with repositionable adhesive.  Placing the stencil over the top, I did some ink blending over the background using a back and forth motion rather than a circular motion.  I die cut my sentiment from black velvet cardstock and adhered them with liquid glue.  I covered my bat with Versamark and heat embossed him using black ultra-thick embossing powder and added two layers of black glitter embossing powder to add some dimension.  A scattering of sequins finished off our happy little troupe of trick-or-treaters.  My supply list is below.

Supplies:
Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die
Sasayaki Glitter Halloween Monster Image
Infinity Engraving die cut bat
Crafters Companion Spectrum Noir cardstock

Trick or Treat Collaboration with Tara from Crafting With Curl E. Ques

Halloween is almost here and today, I have a sweet treat for you!  Tara from http://curlecues.blogspot.com/ and I decided to team up to create collaboration posts and videos.  Each of us made backgrounds and exchanged them to create cards.  I took one of the awesome backgrounds she made and created a shaker with one of my favorite Halloween stamp sets.  After stamping the adorable little dracula cat, I colored him with Copics and die cut him out.  Using two stitched rectangle dies, I cut a frame from some glitter paper, attached the acetate panel and added doubled up foam tape around the frame to create the pocket for the shaker bits to live in.  I added a few spiders to the background using heat embossing and added sequins, microbeads and mica flakes for the shaker bits.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, then added some green inks to tie it into the background.  To finish off my card, I attached the cat, sentiment bubble and bat using foam squares.  I also added some sparkle to Dracula's cape with a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  Here's the video tutorial on my YouTube channel if you'd like to check it out and my supply list is below.

Supplies:
Crafters Companion Spectrum Noir cardstock
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Simon Says Stamp Trick or Treat stamp and die sets
Copics: BV000, 00, 02, 04, 08; C3, 5, 7; E04
Lawn Fawn Stiched Rectangle dies (1st and 3rd largest)
DCWV Twinkle Glitz cardstock stack
MISTI
3M Foam tape
Versamark
Nuvo Black embossing powder
Little Things Purple Velvet and Star Shine sequin mixes
Black Microbeads
Ranger Sparkle Black embossing powder
Infinity Engraving bat chipboard
Ranger Black Ultra Thick Embossing Powder
Distress Ink: Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron
Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen
Mica Flakes

Thanks for stopping by and hanging out and be sure to head over to Tara's blog and YouTube channel to see what she's created with my backgrounds!  I can't wait to see what she has in store!  See you next time and Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween with Infinity Engravings LLC

Happy Halloween!  Infinity Engraving has teamed up with Sasayaki Glitter so the design team is pairing IE die cuts with SG digital images to create fun and dynamic projects.  I started my project with the girl and wheelbarrow full of skulls image, using Word to resize the image and printing it out on Copic friendly cardstock.  After die cut and colored the image, I created a mask and placed my stencil.  To create the stars on the background, I combined glitter paste and powdered watercolor, removing the mask while the paste was still wet.  After the paste was dry, I added two shades of purple around the edges, leaving the center of the panel fairly light.  I applied two layers of embossing powder to the ghost die cut and mounted him with foam squares.  Here's the video tutorial on my YouTube channel if you'd like to see how I created this card from start to finish and my supply list is below.

Supplies:
Sasayaki Glitter digital image
Avery Elle Stitches frame die

Pumpkin Spice Owl Halloween Card

Happy Halloween!  This guy is from JessicaLynnOriginal stamps.  They have digital images, like this guy, as well as rubber and clear stamps.  His name is Pumpkin Spice Latte Owl and he is currently free to download.  I don't usually do a lot of Halloween stuff because I don't care for scary/creepy/gore, but Halloween is my birthday and this guy is so adorable as well as combines a few of my favorite things: Coffee, Pumpkin and Owls.  How could I not?!?  My background uses two stencils, glitter paste, Colorburst, and Distress inks.  I know, it's a lot, but it looks so cool and perfect for a Halloween card.  It's also simple and easy.  Here is my video tutorial at my YouTube channel for a start to finish process if you want to see how I created this project and my supply list is below.

MFT Magical Dragons

Hey there!  From the moment I saw images and cards done with the Magical Dragons stamp set from My Favorite Things, I couldn't wait to get them home and start to play.  They are so sweet and so versitile, I even have a Christmas card idea with these.  I started with my stamping and used some masking to make the baby dragon sit on a floating smoke cloud, colored in the dragons and smoke with Copics, re-masked my images and used a cloud stencil to create several layers of clouds.  Here is the video tutorial on my YouTube channel to watch step by step how I created the scene and I encourage you to try these techniques too.

Supplies:
MFT Magical Dragons
Crafters Companion Spectrum Noir CS
Copics: BV000, 24, 04, 08, 11; B00, 02, 05; C00, 3, 5, 7
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (Copic safe)
Full Sticky back Post-It notes
Inky Antics Cloud Stencil
Distress Inks: Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet
SSS ink: Lake Shore
Altenew Ink: Lavender Fields and Ocean Waves
Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die
Neat & Tangled Dreams stamp
VersaMark
Wow Rainbow Black embossing powder
Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen in M
Little Things Sugar Plum and Passion Flower sequins mixes
Pretty Pink Posh 4 mm Sparkling Clear sequins
Doodlebug White glitter card stock
Neenah 110 lb cardbase
Scor-tape

If you don't have the same exact inks, try what you have.  I wanted to keep the clouds light and ethereal, so I used light shades of blue and purple, with the darker tones towards the bottom.  Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.  I love to interact with you guys!

Much love,
Jasmine
